“THE LOVE OF GOD”

EPISTLE READING
ROMANS 8:28-39
It is an Everlasting Love
(Jer. 31:3)
The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.
It is a Manifested Love
(1 John 4:9)
In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him
It is a Redeeming Love
(Isa. 63:7-9)
7. I will mention the loving kindnesses of the Lord and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies, according to the
multitude of His loving kindnesses.
8. For He said, "Surely they are My people, children who will not lie.'' So He became their Savior.
9. In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His Presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them and carried them all the days of old.
It is a Preserving Love
(Rom. 8:38-39)
38. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
39. nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
